2011 Debut Author Challenge

The 2011 Debut Author Challenge is a reading challenge hosted by

I signed-up for the 2010 challenge in October and i did not complete it.I blame my late signing-up for my failure in finishing the challenge. So this time since i now know it before-hand i shall most definitely attempt to accomplish it! I am sooo excited!

Here is information about the Challenge...

The objective of the Challenge is to read at-least 12 Young Adult or Middle Grade books written by debut authors of 2011.
Feel free to read more than 12..
Anyone can join, you don't need a blog to participate/ don't need an English written blog to participate.
You can join anytime, the challenge runs from January 1,2011 to December 31,2011.
There are guidelines for non-bloggers too, mentioned on the Story Siren Website..

Books that Qualify...
  • Books must be a Young Adult or Middle Grade novel.
  • DO NOTE: Just because a book has a teen character or is about a teen, does not mean that it is necessarily a Young Adult novel.
  • This must be the authors debut with a release date in 2011
  • If an author has a previous novel published under adult fiction/nonfiction or children's fiction/nonfiction, they can still qualify for the challenge if they are releasing their YA or MG debut.

Here is a link to the Sign-up page..

I will post my list once i have browsed the options..I will also post links and lists of books that you could possibly read for the challenge...
