Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1

Directed by David Yates
Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint

"As Harry races against time and evil to destroy the Horcruxes, he uncovers the existence of three most powerful objects in the wizarding world: the Deathly Hallows."

David Yates took up the directing of the 7th movie of Harry Potter too (after Order of the Phoenix). The story is more or less similar to J.K Rowling's book (obviously) but i still felt the movie was incomplete in comparison to the book (not because it was a part 1) but overall! The camera work is brilliant but i felt the script was a really awful one. There was no humor, faint attempts were made but just the brief smile sort of humor. I was really impressed with this movie as opposed to the Order of the Phoenix, which i thought was awfully directed. But it was Yates's first time on Harry Potter so i shan't go on a rant.
I missed the Hogwarts campus and teacher on the screen. My favorite character in the series ever since her introduction is Bellatrix Lestrange. Not her character particularly but the actor playing her role. She is bloody brilliant!! She is soo wickedly amazing, even though she killed Sirius Black my other favorite character i still like her a lot.
Among the famous 3, i like Ronald Weasley best, even more than Harry Potter somehow. Daniel Radcliffe is loosing his charm as Harry Potter, i am starting to dislike him. Though to be nice to him i really adored him in the first 3 movies and i absolutely luurved him in Goblet of Fire. But after is haircut i don't like his appearance as much.Thank God the series is coming to and end. *sigh of relief*. Emma Watson had done an amazing job at her role through-out the series so far.
Another one of my favorite characters is Luna Lovegood who i wish got some more time on camera. After reading the book i was hoping to see a lot more of her in the movie, but she made brief appearances.
Now some positive remarks, the movie was well-done in terms of adaptation and filming but i wish the script had been a better one. Despite it weaknesses i am looking forward to the next part eagerly!

A look at the entire series...
The first two movies in my opinion were the best directed in terms of all aspects. But after that the movie directing didn't impress me, they were all made in a rush. And now that the series is coming to an end, Hollywood decided to take it s-l-o-w...
