The Plot: Alex Kosmitoras is blind but has the power too "see" the future- like a 6th sense. He yields great power which bring together a group of people with special powers together for a mission.

A large part of the book is spent on Alex's relationship with people and how they go through their ups and downs. What holds him and his relationships  together is the main psych-kick mission! 

The end was disappointing and unsatisfactory... The suspense was built really well, but somewhere down the line, the plot lost its appeal. The resolution was short and had  little connection to the first half of the book. 

The Characters: There were about 3 main characters and 3 supporting characters. The description of characters and their relationships were brilliant. It was easy to picture the people, understand their motives, explain their actions, anticipate their moves. The were connectable, especially Alex. 

Though I didn't like him- I disliked him after a point in the book. 

It was a refreshing change to read a book from a male point of view, especially a blind male point of view. Towards the end of the book, thinking like Alex became second nature every time I read the book.

Emily's character establishing and descriptions were brilliant, even though I didn't quiet enjoy the plot the characterization was what kept me hooked.

The Cover: I don't like it. :/ The story idea was good, the plot okay, the characters amazing but the cover just didn't get me.  :(

But, a very important moment..the other designs were so good and well thought out. The header's on every page and the quotes and the runes at the beginning of every chapter! Me liked!

Overall, the summary sounded very intriguing and the characters built the suspense well. But the end was a sore disappointment. Suddenly it was spiraling at full speed towards the end and the plot was getting botched as suspense was being killed secret by secret. 

If you enjoy paranormal fiction, with a mild seasoning of romance, some psychic elements and a change from a female gender narrator. Get yourself a copy of Farsighted.
