iBoy makes you think about how much you can do to prevents or avenge crime and still keep yourself from becoming a criminal? Does keeping quiet and watching abuse make you correct? Or does taking the law into your own hands and stopping the abuse, correct?


I read this book only because I had to check for content so my 13 year old brother could read it. He, by the way is not a reader, he reads only when he is forced to (by my folks) or when a book catches his eye! iBoy did, but all that about rape, drugs and gangsta hoods made me get all worried if he was mature enough of for it. Ha Ha. 
Turns out it would do him good, the conclusion and what the author is trying to arrive at, is something more than just beating up people for revenge..


Written from a boy's perspective for a change, iBoy kept me engaged until the end. I disliked the writing style and found the characters quite annoying. The book, in my opinion was an average read, but the questions it posed and the thoughts it generates in your head make the read worthwhile..
Its slightly morbid and portrays teens as the kind of people who need to be shipped off to Life Skill camps, therapy and juvy prisons. 

Contains: Frequent use of language, reference to drugs and rape.

Love story: Yes, but a mild one. Nothing too intense and kissy.
