Things I learnt from watching Amazon Prime's Forever

1. We do not have that kind of time, so don't hold onto things and experiences too tightly.

2. And even if we did have forever, we would get bored of it, so really there is no winning.

3. If you find other people who are on quests and journeys to free themselves from the material and limiting concepts of this world- it can start to feel cultish. But that's okay you don't care what other people think anyway, right?!

4. Honest conversations are everything, have them often and have them with everybody.

5. There is such a thing as too late and boundaries and respect for someone's values and ideas of a perfect relationship. Some of them spend a lot of time building and working on them-don't diss that so quickly.

6. If you make a decision, also try to stand by it if you want to see results.

7. Relationships can be boring, but so can tv shows- so choose one of them on any given night.

8. Being on your own is complicated, but apparently so is being in relationships - jeez!

9. There is a time and place for everything but you won't have everything all the time and in every place so find a way to make your peace.

10. I am not sure Oscar and June were a great couple to begin with or even Maya Rudolph and Fred Armisen. It feels like they cancel out each other by being so alike in their demeanor and deadpan sense of humor. That stuff only works on Saturday Night Live!

Verdict: 3 and a half stars for interesting twist on boring things. But its not worth a re-watch and you can totally skip episodes and still understand the plot. In fact the show would have been far more successful if they had a four-episode season- the first two and the last two!
