THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING! I just finished reading and it was the best Vampire Book I have ever read.
I detested vampire novels and stereotype all the YA Vampire to be too lust-driven and obnoxious after the Twilight series (no offence). Though i hope this saves me from hate mail- I liked Twilight the best!
But the Vampire Academy made me change my mind!!
I read this after the first because i couldn't find Frostbite and i got impatient! *hehe* See thats how much i love it!
I devoured every bit of it! This one is full of action and keeps you turning pages, because there are several climaxes to the story. Rose is bombarded with so much trauma and decision-making that you just can't leave her.And all the intricate details and how neatly it fits into the "real-world" is amazing!
Here Rose discovers the full impact of being Shadow-Kissed. I like that concept very much!Se also gets more serious about her guardian duty and becomes a much better fighter! She seems practically invincible and with Dimitri and Lissa as added bonus.Rose has it all and yet i don't hate her not even envy her. In fact i admire her for being popular, powerful, bitchy, strong and loved all at the same time! Its like she has it all until of course thing get confusing and troubling for her..
 The new guys Adrain is soooo hot. I have like a crush on him but i'm torn between him and Dimitri. 
All the character from VA so far are actually quite affectionate worthy- the saint-like Vasilisa, the super hot Dimitri, the brotherly Eddie, the mysterious Christian,the annoyingly handsome actually hot Adrian!
*sigh* I hope they make a movie out of the series but at the same time i don't because they just might destroy the beauty of the book like some of the HP series movies!
My review is so badly organized but i am still getting over the awesome-ness of the series so please excuse me!

I loved this book so much that i was dying to read Blood Promise (the next one in the series) so bad that i sprinted to the library 10 minutes before closing time and borrowed it! Despite the fact that i have exams from tomorrow.Some books are just so good!I love this book to bits! It had all the elements of a prefect book- emotional, funny, tense and had some action packed scenes. Mead has put them together without over-doing it!
If  you haven't read it,then your missing out on a LOT my friend.Get your hands on a copy ASAP!
